Accreditation
In 2011 the National Framework for Energy Efficiency (NFEE) Trades and Professions Training and Accreditation Committee engaged the EEC to research and make recommendations on an accreditation scheme for individuals and companies providing integrated energy efficiency retrofit services in the commercial services sector.
After extensive consultation, the Energy Efficiency Council released the landmark report "Accreditation for individuals and companies providing integrated energy efficiency retrofit services", which details the recommended framework for such a scheme.
In the second half of 2012, the EEC is completing the final design work on the accreditation scheme, which will be implemented in 2013.
