The Energy Efficiency Council (EEC) is Australia’s peak body for organisations working to harness the power of efficiency, electrification and energy flexibility to deliver a prosperous, net-zero future.
Our mission is to catalyse action from government and industry that delivers:
We’re working to make homes across Australia healthy, comfortable, affordable to run and powered by renewable energy.
We’re helping businesses improve their productivity, lower emissions and cut their energy bills.
We’re supporting the rollout of renewables and driving down energy system costs by activating the demand side to deliver better outcomes for homes and businesses.
We deliver this through our 2030 Market Acceleration Strategy. Its goal is to fast-track the growth of a trusted ecosystem of products and services that benefit households, businesses and the energy system.
By becoming a member, your organisation helps back in the Strategy and each of the Plans — supporting the core capability that enables us to coordinate industry effort, build the evidence base, influence policy, support workforce development, and drive public engagement.
Members can also step up support by becoming a Market Acceleration Partner, unlocking additional capacity at the EEC and raising your organisation’s profile and influence across the sector.
Membership fees are tiered to suit organisations of all sizes, from major industry leaders to SMEs, government, and education partners.
All members have signed up to the EEC’s mission statement and Code of Ethics.
