LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Participants will leave the training with:
- How to meter electrical energy, thermal energy, gas energy and water flow
- How to develop a metering plan that fits within budget constraints
- How to select the right meter for the job
- The application and limitations of various meter types
- Considerations for installation
- Data collection & validation options
- How to analyse raw meter data.
ABOUT THE TRAINING
This one day, hands-on course provides introductory guidance on meter selection, installation, calibration and data collection and validation. Meter accuracy will be discussed, along with techniques for reducing the costs of measurements, and developing a metering plan in line with your customers budget.
Techniques for quickly manipulating data files will also be presented, along with guidance on data collection intervals.
ABOUT THE TRAINER
Bruce Rowse has worked in energy efficiency since 2002 and sits on standards committee EN-001, participating in the major upgrade of AS/NZS 3598 Energy Audits in 2014 and is the Chair of the Efficiency Valuation Organisation’s training committee.
TERMS, CONDITIONS and CANCELLATION POLICY
All prices are stated in Australian dollars and include GST. Payments by credit card attract a credit card surcharge of 2.4% plus GST;
Current EEC members receive significant discounts on the fee schedule, but the membership must be up to date to receive the discounted rate. For more information on becoming an EEC member, review the membership overview; and
Should a non-member register for a course at the EEC member rate, and invoice for the difference will be issued and will be due for payment before the course commences. Payment in full is required before registrations close.
Cancellations received 30 days prior to the training will be accepted and fees refunded less a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations made on/after 30 days prior to the training cannot be accepted. Registrations are non-transferable. Refunds will not be available if you choose not to attend the training course. Cancellation requests must be received in writing and can be sent to training@eec.org.au
The Energy Efficiency Council reserves the right to cancel any program at its discretion. In the event that the Energy Efficiency Council cancels a program, registrants will be given the option of transferring to the next available program dates or being provided with a full refund of the registration fees.
