Introducing: Clean Energy, Clean Demand – EEC's landmark new report 05 April 2023
Today, the EEC releases its newest flagship report, Clean Energy, Clean Demand: Enabling a zero emissions energy system with energy management, renewables and electrification.
Written by EEC Head of Market Transformation Rob Murray-Leach, the report combines new research with expert views from Australia and around the world. The result is a roadmap for integrating renewables, electrification and energy management to rapidly decarbonise our economy while getting the best possible outcome for businesses and households.
Clean Energy, Clean Demand was launched today by Assistant Minister for Climate Change and Energy Jenny McAllister alongside Rob, EEC CEO Luke Menzel and the following representatives from EEC member organisations:
Jane Butler, AGL's Head of Product, Strategy and New Technology;
Lynne Gallagher, CEO of Energy Consumers Australia; and
Gareth O'Reilly, Pacific Managing Director, Schneider Electric.
Over 100 senior figures from Australia’s energy sector came together for today’s report launch, discussing the critical role of energy efficiency on the path to affordable, clean and reliable energy.
