SA Government seeks proposals for energy efficiency & distributed generation 12 November 2015
The South Australian Government announced today that it will consider proposals for energy efficiency projects and distributed generation as well as traditional electricity supply agreements to service its electricity needs from 2016.
The government is seeking proposals from the energy industry for the supply of low carbon electricity (Electricity Supply Proposal) and/or the provision of solutions to increase the value derived from the State’s electricity use (Energy Productivity Proposals) for state sites.
Proponents have the option of submitting an energy productivity proposal separately, or together with an energy generation solution. Proposals are sought to service up to 481 gigawatt hours of electricity per annum which is equivalent to 100% of the government’s electricity needs.
