Tasmanian Energy Efficiency Loan Scheme 01 May 2017

A new loan scheme will allow Tasmanians to borrow up to $10,000 to purchase energy efficient products.

Energy Minister Matthew Groom announced the new $10 million Tasmanian Energy Efficiency Loan Scheme on Monday 1 May. 

The scheme, in partnership with Aurora and Westpac, will allow households and small businesses to access interest free loans up to $10,000 for appliances such as heat pumps, double-glazed windows, and solar panels.
