PD Snapshot - December 2021

Dear reader,

Welcome to the final Training and Professional Development snapshot for 2021! Yesterday we ran our final class for 2021 - Masterclass: Energy auditing to AS3598, which was full to capacity. We hope you have enjoyed this year's training program, and that you're looking forward to what's on offer in 2022.

Last month we launched the 2022 Training and Professional Development calendar - we invite you to peruse the full calendar below or on our website, and register now to secure your place in one of our popular training and professional development opportunities in 2022.

2021 certification renewal extension and 2022 certification renewals

AEE and EVO have advised that they are still accepting CMVP and CEM certification renewals - the ones due to expire in just a few weeks - until the end of the calendar year. If you are yet to renew your certification, please do so as soon as possible.

Also, a heads up that if your CMVP or CEM is due for renewal in 2022, we will be in touch early in the new year regarding your CPD requirements. If you're not sure whether this includes you, you can check AEE's Certified Professional Directory for your credentials.

CPD opportunity: National Energy Efficiency Conference 2022

We launched our early-bird registrations for NEEC22 this week, running 25-26 May 2022 in Melbourne. This is not only the first chance in some time to come together as an industry, but is also an excellent CPD opportunity.

EnMS advisor certification launching 2022

We're excited to be launching a new certification framework in 2022, kicking off with the Energy Management System (EnMS) advisor certification. Anyone who has completed the EnMS course will have an opportunity to be part of the first certified cohort. If you'd like to be one of them, register for the March course now.

As always, if you have any queries about any of our training and professional development courses, or suggestions for courses you would like to see the Council deliver, please get in touch.

The EEC wishes you a safe and happy holiday season, and we look forward to engaging with you in 2022.

Kind regards,
