National Energy Efficiency Conference 2015 to take place 17-18 November in Melbourne 02 June 2015

The Energy Efficiency Council has announced that the National Energy Efficiency Conference will return to Melbourne in November 2015.

The conference, Australia’s leading event for energy efficiency, distributed generation and demand management, will take place on Tuesday 17 and Wednesday 18 November at Pullman Melbourne on the Park, Melbourne.

Presented by the Energy Efficiency Council, the National Energy Efficiency Conference 2015 will bring together 300 of Australia's top efficiency experts, international thought-leaders, policy makers and energy users to debate and explore the latest thinking on saving energy.

Luke Menzel, CEO of the Energy Efficiency Council said “Energy systems in Australia and around the world are in a state of transition, and rapid innovation in technologies and service models are creating both uncertainty and opportunity. The National Energy Efficiency Conference 2015 will see experts come together to tackle this issue along with a host of other critical topics, making it an unmissable event for energy efficiency providers, energy users or a policy makers alike.

Curated by the Energy Efficiency Council’s expert team and a handpicked panel of experts, the conference offers a unique mix of big picture thinking on the fundamental shifts facing energy efficiency, combined with technical insights, best practice examples and collaborative discussion and networking designed to educate, inform and inspire Australia’s energy efficiency sector.

The conference will feature over 50 leading Australian and international speakers on a diverse range of topics including the transition in the energy system and the challenge and opportunities for energy efficiency, energy productivity, gas and electricity tariffs, cogeneration and district heating, the psychology of selling efficiency, certificate schemes plus the latest in commercial, industrial and residential efficiency.
